why hire a destination makeup artist?

There is no better reassurance than having a make-up trial completed (or make-up and hair if you are taking this option) in plenty of time for the wedding day.  Not just a few days before but 3 months before in your home country.  So you are able to organise any tweaks or re think if needed.  We will have had time to connect and you can feel assured knowing that not only your hair and makeup will turn out exacty as wanted but a famliar friend is there with you to do it?

how much should a destination makeup artist cost?

All artists will have a different approcah.  Some make-up artist may charge for flights, accomodation plus the on the day work fee plus half the work fee as travel days either side of the work day.

Myself personally I like to charge a simple flat fee and I will make sure that covers my flights hotel and thats it.

I have one travel fee for Europe and one for International and thats it no extras its simple and accessible .
